Hey everyone, Pascal here. I was born and raised in the Boston area, specifically Lexington. For any history geeks out there, yes, this is the same Lexington where the battles of Lexington and Concord took place, where the American Revolution started.
I was born with multiple birth defects, including a compromised airway and crooked thumb. At a young age, I used a treachea tube to help me breathe and feeding tubes to help me eat. I was later diagnosed with a rare condition called Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA), which you can read more about here. Life with DBA definitely hasn’t been easy, but I nevertheless try to make the most out of each and every day. I have now moved up to Toronto and attend the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). Follow me on my journey as I navigate life with DBA.
